Getting around Sugar Land is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Met up with a friend for some coffee and sweets and I was not disappointed! The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean and inviting. Definitely a must try for sweets and the food smelled really good too!

Lamadaline is a staple restaurant that I've been going to for a very long time, certainly over 10 years. But I think my memory of what lamentalon used to be exceeds what the restaurant currently is. Don't get me wrong, nothing is terrible from what I could see. But prices have gone up and some of the small things like bread and butter with jam are not here, less drinks to choose from, smaller pastry section etc. I ordered an omelette which came with a croissant and a regular drink and paid $20. What I still come here? Yes. Only because I think the location is great, parking is great, it's always clean inside, there are a good number of tables in different sections so the restaurant doesn't get too loud very quickly (other than the loud French music, they're always streaming) and it's a great place to meet people and have a quick meeting or meet up. I do wish the prices would reflect the amount of food and the type of food one would expect at a fast casual restaurant.

Great cafe for for affordable prices. $25 to fill up my mother and I for lunch. Love their chicken Caesar salad and chicken friand w mushroom sauce. They also have great bakery section ! This place has been in Sugar Land for decades+! It’s usually filled with regulars here. It’s easy to order, anything that’s made in the kitchen they bring out to your table. Anything that’s can be made as you go down the line will be given to you at that time.

I had a pleasant experience at La Madeleine in Sugar Land City Centre. There’s plenty of parking and lots of tables inside if you’re dining in. When you walk in, you’ll see a line at the register for to-go orders—so if you’re eating inside, make sure you don’t get stuck waiting in the wrong line. On this visit, I ordered the ham and cheese Danish, and it was really tasty. The pastry had a nice, flaky crust, and the ham and cheese filling was well balanced and flavorful. The staff were friendly and welcoming, as always. One helpful tip: ask for your receipt, because you can fill out a quick survey and get a free pastry. When dining in, they also provide complimentary bread with jam, along with hot water and tea, which is a nice touch. If you enjoy pastries and casual French café food, this is a great spot, and I definitely recommend stopping by.

first time ever going to a establishment of this kind, not sure what I was expecting but it did not impress me at all for the price of what we got. not sure if this was a French style restaurant or a best western breakfast, and I have had a better breakfast experience at a hotel. the food was mediocre at best. I asked for over easy and they were deep deep fried eggs. the French toast wasn't bad or great just ok. like I mentioned before not sure what I was expecting but this experience wasn't it. the employees didnt explain the menu but left it to open interpretation on how it works, you pick you order and then you pay, kinda like a cafeteria style only way I can explain it.
